About the products

Where are the clothes made?

All our clothes are made with a handful of factories in Northern Portugal. We have a very close, hands-on relationship with them all to ensure excellent quality and as much transparency of the whole supply chain as possible. Read more about our factories here.

Do the clothes shrink?

It's important to us that our clothes wash and wear well. Natural fibres are more susceptible than synthetics to shrinkage in the washing process. However, we pre-wash all our garments as part of our making process to mitigate this. This is an extra step that many manufacturers omit but we think it's important so you can feel confident in the clothes you buy from us.

How should the clothes be washed?

In order to maintain the lovely natural fabrics our garments do need some special attention in the washing process. You can read out laundry guide here.

Do we offer a click and collect service?

Click and collect is now available from our Chiltern Street store. Please select “pick up” as your delivery method at checkout. A member of
our team will be in touch to confirm once your order is ready for collection. Typically orders are ready for collection within 24hrs. If you require any further assistance with your order delivery please contact us. helpful@hamiltonandhare.com.

What is our exchange + refund policy?

We hope that you will be delighted with your purchase from us but if you need to make a return for any reason, we will be happy to help. Goods must be returned / exchanged within 28 days (from receipt of goods) in their original condition. You can view our full returns policy here.

Do we ship internationally?

Yes, we work in partnership with Global-e, a third-party fulfilment partner, so that you can buy and ship your products to over 100 destinations worldwide. Most countries are shipped to on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties will be included in the final purchase price.

Do we offer gift receipts?

Yes, we can provide a gift receipt with your order. Please contact helpful@hamiltonandhare.com and we would be happy to provide you with a gift receipt.

When did the brand start?

The idea began in 2012 and the brand was launched in 2014 with the sole aim of making men's underwear better, both in terms of product quality and responsible manufacturing. Since then, it has grown to offer a full range of luxury wardrobe staples for men. Read more about the story here.

Is there a physical shop?

Our flagship store is at 39 Chiltern Street in Marylebone, W1 London. We are a small team working out of a studio beneath the store so you may well meet some of us if you drop by. You can find out more here.
