The Henley

THE HISTORY OF THE HENLEY

The Henley was first worn as underwear in the 19th century, but earned its namesake after becoming the default uniform of rowers in the Oxfordshire town of Henley-on-Thames, home of the Royal Regatta rowing competitions. Both comfortable and easy-to-wear, it's one of our bestselling styles.

FIT:

Our Henley’s are shaped for a close but not tight fit with a flattering three-button neckline and contrast detailing.

FABRIC:

We use the finest jersey for our tailored tees. It’s a cotton/lyocell mix which has an incredible softness.
Lyocell is a natural plant fibre and brings an extra skin-soft quality to the cotton whilst holding shape.

WEAR WITH

We designed our Henley's with versatility in mind. Pair with jeans or chinos or with our track trousers for lounging on the sofa.
