Men's Christmas Gifting Guide

Gifting men the usual socks, slippers, pyjamas or underwear might sound like a cop-out, but when those wardrobe essentials are made with sustainable natural fabrics, they can become much-loved staples for years to come, and the perfect present.
The motivation to start Hamilton + Hare actually came from our founder Olivia’s dismay at a family member’s novelty Christmas boxer shorts, and the poor quality of mens underwear in general. With the goal of making mens underwear better, we worked with a Savile Row tailor to create sustainable boxer shorts from premium shirting-grade cotton. They're still our best selling product.
If you ask us, socks get a bad rep as the archetypal boring Christmas gift. Our luxury winter socks are made from a blend of recycled wool and cashmere and impossibly comfortable. They make the perfect stocking filler. You could even put a Christmas orange inside and use them as the stocking.
A twist on traditional pyjamas, our lounge sets are made from a premium cotton-lyocell mix. Lyocell is a sustainable super-fabric made from the pulp of eucalyptus trees. The benefits are many, but it’s especially durable and breathable, which is why we use it for sleepwear. The henley button neck is our own British twist.
As the ultimate wardrobe essential, we put a lot of effort into getting our t-shirt right. Made from sustainably sourced cotton, our classic white t-shirt is cut with a slightly loose body and medium length sleeves, finishing just below the waist, exactly the way a perfect white t-shirt should.
Chiltern Trouser - Navy Microwaffle
Our signature trouser named after the London street we call home. The straight cut, medium width leg and elastic waist make them a versatile contemporary wardrobe staple, as good working from home as they are mooching around town at the weekend. Dress them up with a shirt or throw on a t-shirt and trainers, they’re an essential part of the modern wardrobe. We offer the Chiltern Trouser in a range of fabrics each season, from microwaffle to seersucker.
