This month, to mark the release of our travelwear range we’re celebrating the summer getaway with our pick of places
to go, what to pack and what to wear getting there.
With the rise of the ‘holiday bragger’ on Instagram and a feed full of impossibly perfect exotic sun lounger scenes,
we suggest some more realistic escapes closer to home.
Hotel in the New Forest is the perfect setting for this, easily accessible from London but
far enough to feel you’ve escaped. The vast choice of rooms overlooking the forest coupled with dining options at the upscale, yet unpretentious restaurant, Hartnett Holder & Co make it the ideal refuge in this ancient forest. In October the hotel is hosting a number of live acoustic unplugged Sunday sessions with a festival feel.
If you have a few extra days on your hand. Gleneagles Hotel in the heart of Scotland, a French inspired chateau is the ideal option. Within an hour of Edinburgh, opulent in nature whilst being steeped in tradition, the hotel is an idyllic Scottish landmark. Gleneagles meets all your plaid-clad expectations, rolling hills, a whisky topped bar, fishing and golf. George Bush is a fan, but we're not sure that's its best selling point.
If you’re time constrained but in need of an overnight rejuvenation, we suggest the Hotel 41 in London’s West End. Think, rich mahogany coupled with black and white furnished tones throughout. Drawing inspiration from different areas of the globe this boutique hotel feels more exotic that its location. The champagne trolley on arrival sets the holiday feeling up nicely too.
